Besides local agencies on AID & LEA. There are some Federal agencies on the state radio system, they ID as "F-###". The 100 series seems to be the FBI, 200 series BATF, 300 series Dept of Agriculture.
Dept. of Public Safety Division of Criminal Investigation

Uses DPS radio system. Also 154.920 "Purple", as while as other low power simplex channels. There are base stations at resident agent offices and at resident agents office on site at Casinos, Horse & Dog Racing Tracks. May have be capable of operation on local agencies systems. ID on state system as "I-###".

State Fire Marshall

700 series on the state radio system

Dept. of Natural Resoures

155.595 is used at State Parks, and by State Game Wardens. C1## are State Park Rangers. C2## are statewide personnel, they are only use the 155.595. Game Wardens also use the state radio system with a C3## series. The DNR licensed several low-power frequencies. What are used for is unknown. I made a map showing which frequencies are used in which county by the DNR

Department of Corrections

Other than using the statewide state agencies channel of 154.995 for mobiles, 453.375 simplex handhelds, and local prison frequencies. Nothing is known about this agency use of the state radio system.
Fort Dodge Prison is on the Racom TRS.

Department Of Transportation

159.180 (159.060) F1 (most traffic is now digital)
159.195 (159.105) F2 (most traffic is now digital)
159.165 (159.075) F3 (most traffic is now digital)
158.985 (155.985) F4 (most traffic is now digital)
New channels are licensed:

most radios are capable of simplex operation on the repeater output.

155.970 SC weigh scales & enforcement
155.460 enforcement
47.280 unknown use

DOT has at least one garage in each county, depending on the state road system. While F1 & F2 are use the most, F3 & F4 are used when an interference problem or busy channels exist. 155.970 is used only at Weigh Scales or by Enforcement Officers. Maintenance trucks ID with the name of the garage and one or two digits. District personnel ID with the District number and two digits. Most of agency has switched to digital.

Enforcement Officers use the DPS state radio system and use "T-###" as ID, they drive marked blue Crown Victoria or Caprices with full light-bars on top. They have not been heard on the actual DOT radio system, 155.970 & 155.460 replaces 155.445 & 155.505 in their radios. Repeaters on 151.340 & 151.175 are being licensed in areas of the State. The licenses mention DOT Enforcement as the office of contact.
